What You'll Be Doing As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, cleanings, and tune-ups on residential and light-commercial HVAC systems. Identify developing issues and troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunctions. Clearly explain system health, findings, and recommended next steps to customers. Build strong relationships that give customers confidence in their service decisions. Educate customers on maintenance agreements, financing options, system care, and available solutions. Identify opportunities for repairs, system improvements, and additional services without using high-pressure sales tactics. Maintain accurate service records, invoices, photographs, and documentation through our digital platform. Keep your company vehicle, tools, equipment, and job sites clean, safe, and organized. Collaborate with dispatch and the office team to provide a seamless customer experience. Participate in daily training, team meetings, and professional-development exercises. Support and mentor apprentices as your experience allows. Represent LB Chase as a trusted advisor—not just a technician with tools. You're a Strong Fit If You Bring A high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in residential HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair. Working knowledge of HVAC systems, safety requirements, and applicable codes. A valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail. Clear, professional verbal and written communication. Integrity, reliability, and a customer-first mindset. The ability to work independently while contributing to a team-driven culture. A positive attitude and willingness to keep learning. Comfort discussing repair options, maintenance agreements, and system improvements with customers. The ability to pass a drug screening and background check. The ability to work in physically demanding environments, including attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and confined spaces.
