Responsibilities Support HVAC technicians in installing new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems according to schematics and design plans Assist with the setup and connection of mechanical systems, including ductwork, piping, electrical wiring, and refrigerant lines Help troubleshoot equipment issues using hand tools, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical knowledge to identify problems quickly Participate in system maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system testing, and routine inspections Handle basic plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling tools and equipment Experience Construction experience or hands-on mechanical work background preferred Familiarity with HVAC system repair highly desirable Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration is a plus Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems required Experience with hand tools such as ohmmeters or other diagnostic equipment is beneficial Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driver experience is preferred EPA certification for handling refrigerants required or obtainable upon hire This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the HVAC industry.
