We are seeking to hire a Junior Field Service Technician to join our company in Abilene, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities Support commissioning, startup, and equipment verification activities on active project sites Perform basic repairs, corrective actions, and remediation work on mechanical and electrical equipment Replace hardware components including bolts, screws, brackets, and fasteners as required Perform equipment touch-up, restoration, and general site punch list activities Assist with installation verification and quality inspections Work alongside senior technicians during testing, startup, and commissioning activities Complete field documentation, checklists, inspection reports, and commissioning records Capture and organize site photographs and project documentation Maintain compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and site requirements Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner

Requirements Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills Ability to work in industrial, construction, and mission-critical environments Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills OSHA10 Construction certification

Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 60.0 per week
