About Us Nomad Mechanical is a growing plumbing and mechanical company serving Amarillo and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on high-quality work, professionalism, and taking care of both our customers and our team. We're looking for a skilled HVAC Technician who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, and wants to be part of a dependable crew. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on field experience in residential and light commercial, works well independently and as part of a team, and takes pride in completing quality work efficiently and on schedule. Responsibilities Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals as needed Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding job status and recommendations Maintain accurate service records and documentation Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.) Manage time effectively to complete jobs within scheduled windows Qualifications Technician License EPA certification (required) Valid driver's license Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical ability to lift equipment, work in tight spaces, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Requirements
