Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Personnel to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. A strong foundation in HVAC systems combined with excellent customer service skills will set you up for success in this vital role. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues. Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Conduct equipment troubleshooting and mechanical systems repair to restore optimal operation efficiently. Maintain HVAC/R systems through routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades to ensure reliability. Collaborate with clients to identify needs, explain technical issues clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout all interactions. Follow safety protocols and obtain necessary certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Skills Proven construction experience with hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems repair and HVAC system installation. Service technician experience with a strong understanding of refrigeration, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems. Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles effectively. Mechanical knowledge encompassing HVAC/R equipment troubleshooting, boiler operation, air conditioning systems, ammonia refrigeration, and electrical systems. Proficiency with hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters for diagnostics and repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Knowledge of HVAC system maintenance practices including routine inspections and emergency repairs.
