Diagnose and repair refrigerated water chillers, air conditioning systems, and HVAC electrical components.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine root cause solutions.
Test HVAC equipment to verify proper operation after repairs.
Operate hand and power tools required for maintenance and repair work.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and document daily repair activities.
Monitor inventory of spare parts and submit repair part requisitions as needed.
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned to support plant operations.
Journeyman HVAC Certification required.
Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC repair and troubleshooting experience.
Experience servicing commercial HVAC systems and industrial chillers.
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
NATE, ASHRAE, or OSHA certifications are a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and safety procedures.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments.
Comfortable working at heights using ladders, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
Ability to work around moving machinery, electrical equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate to loud noise while wearing required PPE. #psbrownwood
