The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various HVAC equipment and systems. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. Collaborate with construction teams on HVAC design and installation projects. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role in the field service industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, plumbing, and property maintenance. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics related to HVAC design. Experience in equipment repair and maintenance of various HVAC/R systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
