As an HVAC Installation Technician, you will work as part of our installation team completing HVAC system replacements, equipment installations, ductwork modifications, and related projects. Responsibilities Install residential and light-commercial HVAC systems, including split systems, package units, furnaces, air handlers, evaporator coils, condensers, heat pumps, and related equipment. Remove and properly dispose of existing HVAC equipment. Install and modify refrigerant piping, condensate drains, gas piping connections, electrical connections, venting, plenums, transitions, and related components. Perform ductwork modifications and repairs as required by the installation. Properly evacuate, charge, start, and commission newly installed HVAC systems. Verify refrigerant pressures, temperatures, airflow, electrical operation, drainage, and overall system performance. Read and understand equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, installation instructions, and job scopes. Identify installation issues and communicate necessary changes or additional work to management. Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the installation. Protect customers' homes and property while performing work. Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and installation materials. Complete required installation documentation and jobsite photographs. Follow company installation standards, manufacturer requirements, applicable codes, and safety procedures. Communicate professionally with customers regarding the installation process and completed work. Work effectively with installation helpers, technicians, project managers, and other

members. Perform other HVAC installation and service-related duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Previous HVAC installation experience strongly preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of HVAC installation practices. Knowledge of residential and light-commercial HVAC equipment. Ability to properly braze and work with refrigerant piping. Understanding of refrigerant evacuation, charging, recovery, and system commissioning. Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and HVAC electrical systems. Ability to read wiring diagrams and manufacturer installation instructions. Experience with sheet metal, plenums, transitions, and ductwork is preferred. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and HVAC installation equipment. Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments common to HVAC work. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing American Comfort Experts. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. EPA Section 608 certification preferred. NATE, manufacturer, or other HVAC certifications are a plus. What We Are Looking For We want installers who take pride in their work .
