Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial properties. Duties Install new HVAC systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair issues with air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems. Conduct field service calls to assess customer needs and provide solutions. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities. Skills Proficient in refrigerate systems, HVAC/R principles, and air conditioning technology. Strong mechanical skills with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting. Ability to plumb and perform basic plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for field service calls. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Previous experience in property maintenance or as a mechanic is preferred but not required.
