Immediately Job Description Facilities Maintenance HVAC Technician / Electrician 2026-2027

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and installing HVAC systems, electrical equipment and related building systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

HS Diploma or GED Valid Texas Driver's License Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance and installation Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and written reference material Applicant must live within school district, or be within a reasonable driving distance to answer after-hour or weekend calls when necessary.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES

Under general supervision, maintain, repair and install heating and air conditioning systems and equipment throughout the district Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of heating and air conditioning systems Repair, replace or calibrate controls including thermostats and switches Install new heating and a/c systems and components and relocate and expand existing systems as needed Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all HVAC equipment, including changing of filters and cleaning condensors and coils Receive and complete work orders Other duties as assigned For more information, please contact Maintenance Director Logal Allcorn at 254.747.1649.
