In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential settings. Entry Level 1-2 Yr. Experience up to 10+yr, Field Supervisor Roles available. We also have some openings for Highly Skilled, Traveling or Relocating Techs. (Austin/ Houston Area) Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC units Repair and replace mechanical components including compressors, fans, pumps, valves, and thermostats Conduct system inspections to identify potential issues early and prevent breakdowns through proactive maintenance Collaborate with clients to provide clear explanations of system operations and maintenance procedures while delivering outstanding customer service Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system diagnostics for future reference Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerant handling and other environmental standards Skills Construction experience combined with hands-on service technician expertise in HVAC systems Proficiency reading schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system diagrams Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, refrigeration cycles, plumbing connections, and mechanical systems repair Skilled in electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters; capable of troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC units Experience repairing HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) equipment, Chiller and Boiler Experience is a PLUS!, Not Required. Mechanical knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, installation procedures, and maintenance routines Familiarity with hand tools necessary for mechanical systems repair and installation tasks Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; knowledge of electrical systems within HVAC applications Ability to operate a company vehicle.
