Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more. Responsibilities The HVAC Mechanic perform s maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems within a hospital environment. E nsure s proper indoor air quality, temperature control, and system functionality to support patient care and facility operations. Additionally, follow s safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance. Supports preventive maintenance programs and respond to service needs in a timely manner. C ontributes to a safe, efficient, and reliable healthcare environment.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years' experience in HVAC maintenance and repair in a commercial or healthcare environment. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Certification. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components, and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Preferred Job Requirements:
Technical or vocational training in HVAC or a related field. Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment. HVAC Journeyman license or equivalent credential.
