You are an accomplished HVAC install tech who will meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and safely install a variety of HVAC equipment. You'll also be responsible for installing indoor air quality and control systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role, as you'll be working with industry professionals and customers. You have the technical skills to read and apply blueprints, codes, and manuals to any job, and are comfortable with using HVAC power and hand tools to get the job done. Compensation:
$70,000 - $100,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on how to properly maintain their new equipment Connect pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source Apply electrical testing equipment to check electrical circuits and related components Adhere to all applicable codes, standards, policies, and safety procedures Record HVAC equipment installs into database
Qualifications:
Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills Earned HVAC school degree and 2+ years experience working in the field as an installer Must be comfortable working in small crawl spaces and attics High school diploma or GED required Working knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring and high voltage connections Experience in installing and maintaining HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety Proven track record of troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC equipment issues efficiently Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals to execute installations accurately Strong communication skills to guide clients on equipment usage and maintenance effectively Familiarity with inspecting pipes, tubing joints, and connections to identify and resolve leaks Proficiency in attaching pipes or tubing from fuel, water, or refrigerant sources to HVAC equipment
MUST HAVE
