Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across various properties. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and comfort for clients. You will be at the forefront of field service operations, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and implementing maintenance strategies that keep systems running smoothly. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Conduct plumbing and appliance repairs related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant recharge and ammonia refrigeration handling. Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all work performed for accountability and future reference. Operate company vehicles safely as a driver while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems. Proven service technician experience with field service operations involving equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC units and refrigeration processes including ammonia refrigeration. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices. Experience with boiler operation, property maintenance tasks, welding techniques, and appliance repair. Familiarity with construction practices related to installing or upgrading HVAC systems is a plus.
