Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems in accordance with schematics and design specifications Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and prevent system failures Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical system repairs or replacements as needed Troubleshoot mechanical systems including refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical components to identify root causes of malfunctions Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to restore optimal system performance Conduct comprehensive system inspections, including electrical diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting, to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) Construction experience is highly desirable for installation projects involving complex mechanical systems Strong knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, maintenance, installation, and equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC units and ammonia refrigeration is a plus Ability to operate hand tools proficiently and perform mechanical systems repair efficiently Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling (EPA 608 Certification) required for refrigerant-related work Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driver experience preferred Mechanical knowledge of boilers, air conditioning units, electrical systems, and HVAC system components is essential Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately for effective troubleshooting Join our team if you're passionate about delivering top-tier HVAC solutions!
