Lead Service Technician Summit HVAC & Construction Midlothian, TX About Us Summit HVAC & Construction is a family-owned and operated company serving Midlothian and the surrounding DFW area. Unlike many larger HVAC companies, our owners remain actively involved in daily operations and continue to run service calls alongside the team. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a growing company where their contributions matter. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform residential and light commercial service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and system replacement sales. The ideal candidate is confident in diagnostics, communicates well with customers, works independently, and understands how to provide recommendations that are in the customer's best interest. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems Perform maintenance and service agreements Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control issues Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers Document work performed through Housecall Pro Maintain a clean and professional appearance Properly care for company tools, equipment, and vehicle Participate in seasonal on-call and weekend rotation schedules Qualifications Minimum 5 years HVAC service experience preferred EPA Certification required Texas Registered or Certified HVAC Technician preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently Excellent customer communication skills Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Ability to lift equipment and work in attic and outdoor environments Compensation We offer a compensation structure designed to provide stability throughout the year while rewarding performance.
