HVAC Controls Project Technician $28.00 - $42.00 per hour, based on experience Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area | Full-Time QBS Controls is looking for an HVAC Controls Project Technician to program, start up, and commission building automation systems on new construction and retrofit projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. What You'll Do Program DDC controllers and build system graphics per project sequences of operation Perform point-to-point checkout of installed controls Start up, tune, and commission building automation systems Perform functional testing and support third-party commissioning agents Troubleshoot installation and programming issues in the field Create as-built documentation and support project closeout Coordinate with installation crews, mechanical contractors, and project managers What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience with DDC / building automation systems Experience programming controllers and building graphics preferred Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or similar protocols a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Pay and Benefits $28.00 - $42.00 per hour, based on experience 100% company-paid health insurance premiums - for you AND your family 401(k) retirement plan with 4% company match Paid time off and paid holidays Company vehicle provided
