In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor climate control by working with a variety of heating, cooling, & ventilation equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service to our clients. Paid training and ongoing development are provided to help you excel in this vital trade. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, ventilation fans, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems to ensure efficiency and longevity Repair and replace defective components such as compressors, motors, valves, and electrical wiring while adhering to safety standards Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for precise installation and repair work Collaborate with service technicians on complex repairs involving ammonia refrigeration or specialized HVAC systems Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports and system configurations for property maintenance logs Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair Proven field service experience with HVAC installation and maintenance projects Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles for accurate system setup Familiarity with HVAC systems Experience operating diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues Welding skills for ductwork fabrication or equipment repair are a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver preferred Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems and general building operations Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments requiring mechanical aptitude Join us to build your career in a vibrant industry where your technical expertise makes a real difference!
