Technician Certification Mechanical troubleshooting Service technician experience Full Job Description Job Summary Gurry Mechanical is seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including mini-split, Split Systems, Packaged Units, VRF/VRV Systems, Fan Coil Units, AHUs, Chillers, Boilers, Fans, and BAS Controls. Perform routine preventive maintenance and system inspections. Install HVAC equipment and components as needed. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. Explain repair options and recommendations to customers. Maintain accurate service records and work orders. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Participate in an on-call rotation when required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of HVAC service experience preferred. EPA Section 608 Certification required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
