You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC equipment while ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure efficiency and longevity. Troubleshoot equipment problems related to refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, plumbing, and mechanical components. Use hand tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs or installations safely and efficiently. Communicate clearly with customers about system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service. Skills Proven construction experience with HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair. 2 years service technician experience with HVAC systems. Strong understanding of schematics, electrical diagnostics, building automation systems, and HVAC design principles. Mechanical knowledge of boilers, chillers, air conditioning units, and other HVAC equipment. Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices. Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism. Experience working as a field service technician with a focus on HVAC system maintenance and repairs. Valid driver's license for safe transportation between job sites.
