Key Responsibilities Include:

Install, maintain, and repair residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment. Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions using diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and testing equipment to identify root causes and determine appropriate repair solutions. Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper operation. Repair or replace defective components including motors, compressors, filters, thermostats, etc. Charge and recover refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations and environmental safety standards. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and system performance data in service tickets. Participate in an on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergency service calls as needed.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

A working knowledge of residential HVAC system components, operations, and the maintenance and repair of such systems. Valid driver's license and good driving record. This position requires ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed. Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters. Basic computer skills including the use of web browsers, email, and word processors. Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and safely.
