Active Secret Clearance Required, Top Secret Preferred Join the T47 International Team T47 International is seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Technician to support a secure federal facility in Charlottesville, Virginia. This position is ideal for skilled professionals who take pride in maintaining mission-critical building systems and have the ability to work in a high-security environment. The selected candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable facility operations. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems and associated equipment. Diagnose and resolve issues involving heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. Install, replace, and maintain HVAC components, controls, and related mechanical equipment. Monitor and maintain equipment performance to ensure safe and efficient operation. Respond to service calls and emergency maintenance requests as needed. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, environmental requirements, and facility procedures. Coordinate with facility management and other maintenance personnel to support mission requirements. Qualifications Active Secret Security Clearance, Top Secret Preferred is required. Minimum of three (3) years of commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance and repair experience. High school diploma or GED required; completion of a vocational or technical HVAC program preferred. EPA Universal Certification preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and preventive maintenance practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. Why T47 International?
