Job Description
Comfort Source Heating & Air | Charlottesville, VA Comfort Source is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. If you take pride in building clean, high-quality duct systems for custom homes and enjoy working with a team that values craftsmanship, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork for custom residential homes Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and duct layouts Install rectangular, spiral, and round duct systems Measure, cut, assemble, and seal ductwork to company quality standards Install duct supports, dampers, boots, registers, and accessories Work closely with HVAC installers and project managers to ensure projects stay on schedule Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Deliver workmanship that reflects pride and attention to detail Qualifications 3+ years of sheet metal/HVAC duct installation experience (custom residential experience preferred) Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Experience fabricating and installing sheet metal duct systems Knowledge of local building codes and HVAC installation practices Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and construction environments Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude Valid driver's license with a clean driving record What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health benefits Paid holidays Paid vacation Company uniforms Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Supportive team environment Year-round work with a well-established company Why Comfort Source?
