Kendal at Lexington is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain and service the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that support our vibrant community. Competitive pay:
$27.25 - $35.44/hour DOE. Comprehensive benefits package.
Monday-Friday schedule:
7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Limited on-call commitment:
Only one week every 8 weeks. Comp time provided during on-call rotation weeks. Campus-based work environment with minimal travel. Meaningful work supporting residents in a vibrant community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems. Install and replace HVAC equipment as the equipment ages. Perform preventive maintenance and help develop HVAC maintenance programs. Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Assist with general facilities maintenance as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of HVAC experience with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems. Knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and preventive maintenance practices required. Certification or license in HVAC preferred. Knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, and preventive maintenance practices. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Climb ladders and work in mechanical spaces. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout the workday. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
