Universal Certification Service technician experience Full Job Description Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician - DMV Area (Full-Time, Day Shift) We're hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support service, repair, and maintenance work across commercial sites throughout the DMV area. This role is ideal for a technician who can troubleshoot independently, communicate clearly, and take ownership of jobs from diagnosis through completion. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Install and replace HVAC equipment as needed Work on a variety of systems, including: Computer room units Water source heat pumps Split systems Chillers Fan coils, rooftop units, and air handlers Condensers and dry coolers VAV systems and unit-mounted controls Unit mounted contrals Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with customers and team What We're Looking For Strong hands-on experience with commercial HVAC service and repair Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls EPA Universal (CFC) Certification required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable communicating in English (written and verbal) Master or Journeyman license is a plus Requirements Must be able to pass a background check consistent with job site requirements U.S. Citizenship required for certain job locations Schedule Full-time Day shift (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as needed Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Company truck (take-home) Company-provided cell phone Uniforms Health insurance 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off + paid holidays Ongoing training and education assistance
