Job Description

IS2 is recruiting Commercial/Data Center HVAC Service Technicians for a leading national facilities and mechanical-services organization. This position supports commercial buildings, data centers, and other critical facilities throughout Northern Virginia and the DMV. This opportunity is ideal for an HVAC technician with a solid service background who wants to expand into larger commercial equipment and mission-critical environments. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems. Service RTUs, AHUs, packaged and split systems, heat pumps, VAVs, pumps, motors, boilers, and related equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and basic controls issues. Respond to service calls and equipment alarms. Complete work orders, service reports, and deficiency documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and service leadership. Follow PPE, LOTO, refrigerant-handling, and site safety requirements. Participate in overtime, on-call rotations, and emergency response as needed. Qualifications Three or more years of HVAC service, maintenance, or repair experience. Commercial/Industrial HVAC experience is required. EPA 608 certification required; Universal certification preferred. Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills. Experience with RTUs, packaged units, split systems, or similar equipment. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to travel throughout Northern Virginia and the DMV. Data-center experience is preferred but not required. Pay:

STULZ, Liebert, Trane, Siemens, Trane, Johnson Controls, Metasys, Honeywell ? How much hands-on VRF/VRV troubleshooting and repair experience do you have? How many years of commercial/industrial HVAC service and troubleshooting experience do you have? Where at? What hands-on experience do you have with Liebert or STULZ precision-cooling equipment? Please explain experience, Troubleshooting, Repairs, PM only, Install only? Are you comfortable traveling throughout Northern Virginia and the DMV and participating in overtime, on-call rotations, and emergency response? Do you have experience independently servicing VRF/VRV systems, CRAC/CRAH equipment, chillers, and BAS/BMS controls?
