This role involves traveling within a designated region to commission, start up, and service equipment as needed. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, experienced in working with inverter systems, and equipped with their own tools and vehicle. EPA608 certification and a valid driver's license are required to ensure compliance and safety on the job. Duties Commission and start up mini-split HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Service and troubleshoot equipment as needed, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Travel regionally to various job sites, managing schedules effectively to meet project deadlines. Utilize personal tools and equipment to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs. Work with inverter systems, demonstrating technical proficiency and understanding of modern HVAC technology. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC technician, specifically with mini-split systems and inverter technology. EPA608 certification is mandatory for handling refrigerants safely and legally. Must possess a valid driver's license for regional travel. Ability to work independently in diverse environments while adhering to safety protocols. Own reliable vehicle and necessary tools for HVAC installation, commissioning, and servicing. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently.
