This is a hands-on role for an experienced installer who wants to take ownership of complete residential and light commercial projects, working with a team that cares about quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for independently installing a full range of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, from furnaces and air conditioners to heat pumps and ductless units. Working directly in customers' homes and small business environments, you'll ensure each system is installed safely, neatly, and to code, while delivering a professional customer experience. Your work will directly impact comfort, efficiency, and long-term system performance for customers across the Snoqualmie area. Perform complete installations of residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and ductless/mini-split systems Install and route refrigerant piping, electrical connections, condensate drains, venting, and related components in accordance with code and manufacturer specifications Modify, install, and seal ductwork to ensure proper airflow, system performance, and customer comfort Start up, test, and commission newly installed equipment, verifying proper operation, settings, and system performance Diagnose and correct installation-related issues on-site, ensuring safe, reliable, and code-compliant installations Communicate clearly with customers about work performed, system operation, and any recommendations, maintaining a professional presence in their homes Coordinate with dispatch, office staff, and field team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to company quality standards Maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle, and complete all required installation documentation accurately and on time 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience in residential settings Proven ability to independently complete full installations from start to finish without constant supervision Strong experience installing furnaces, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and ductless/mini-split systems Proficiency with refrigerant piping, electrical terminations, condensate management, venting, and equipment setting/rigging Experience performing ductwork modifications, including fitting, sealing, and balancing considerations Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other typical residential installation environments Professional, customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly Reliable transportation with the ability to commute to Snoqualmie, WA, or relocate prior to starting Consistent track record of dependable attendance, safe work practices, and adherence to company procedures Lead installer experience, including organizing jobs and directing apprentices or helpers Experience installing and commissioning Mitsubishi ductless systems Familiarity with American Standard equipment and related controls Advanced heat pump expertise, including cold-climate applications and high-efficiency systems Background in light commercial installations (small offices, retail, and similar environments) Sheet metal fabrication skills for custom transitions and duct fittings Experience training or mentoring apprentices/helpers in proper installation techniques Strong electrical troubleshooting skills for resolving control and low-voltage issues during startup Active Washington 06A or 06B electrical license (required) EPA Section 608 certification for handling refrigerants (required) High school diploma or GED (required) Formal HVAC trade school, apprenticeship, or technical training program (preferred) Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (required) Manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Mitsubishi, American Standard) or NATE certification (preferred) If you're a detail-oriented, customer-focused installer who takes pride in high-quality work and wants a stable, long-term role, apply now to explore this opportunity.
