$100,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. A growing, established home services company in the Tacoma area is looking for an experienced, driven, and people-focused HVAC Installation Manager to lead our Installation Department and help take our team to the next level. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an HVAC professional who understands what it takes to deliver exceptional installations, develop great technicians, and build a high-performing team. Compensation & Benefits $100,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications Performance-based bonus eligibility Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (role-dependent) Ongoing training and leadership development What You'll Do As the HVAC Installation Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the installation department while ensuring every project meets company standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and customer experience. Lead & Develop the Installation Team Lead, coach, and mentor HVAC installers, leads, and apprentices Build a strong team culture centered around accountability, teamwork, craftsmanship, and customer service Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance conversations, ride-alongs, and coaching sessions Identify training opportunities and create development plans for team members Help build clear career paths so installers can grow their skills and advance within the company Recruit, interview, and help hire talented HVAC professionals Recognize strong performance and address performance issues quickly and professionally Drive Installation Performance Oversee daily installation operations, scheduling, staffing, and workflow Monitor department KPIs, labor efficiency, job profitability, quality, callbacks, and customer satisfaction Ensure installations are completed on time and within established quality and production standards Work closely with Sales, Service, Warehouse, and Customer Service to ensure a smooth customer experience from sold job through completion Identify operational challenges and implement solutions that improve efficiency and profitability Help develop and maintain installation processes, procedures, and best practices Ensure installers have the tools, equipment, materials, and information needed to succeed Quality & Technical Excellence Ensure HVAC installations are completed according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes Perform quality-control inspections and support installers with complex technical challenges Monitor callbacks and identify root causes to reduce repeat issues Stay current on HVAC technology, equipment, installation techniques, and industry best practices Promote proper documentation and job completion standards Ensure safety procedures are consistently followed on every job Customer Experience Help create a consistent, professional customer experience Address escalated customer concerns and installation-related issues Ensure installers communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners Review customer feedback and use it to improve department performance Promote a culture where doing the job right the first time is the standard What We're Looking For Strong residential HVAC installation experience Previous leadership or management experience in HVAC or a related home services environment A strong understanding of HVAC installation practices, equipment, and troubleshooting Knowledge of applicable HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards Proven ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience monitoring department performance, KPIs, and financial results A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record A growth mindset and willingness to continuously improve Why Join Us We believe our people are the foundation of our success.
