Full Job Description HVAC Service Technician Position Overview:
Running Service and Maintenance calls on residential and light commercial equipment. We offer full-time, year-round work, company paid training to obtain and maintain industry certification including NATES and Electrical Trainee instruction and certified hours for a 06A/B License. Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour +
Spiffs Hours:
Monday t hrough Friday | 7:30am to 5:30pm | occasional overtime
Shop Location:
Tacoma What You Will Be Doing:
Diagnose, service, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems Respond to scheduled service calls and troubleshoot equipment issues Perform routine preventative maintenance and annual system inspections Advise homeowners on indoor air quality products and solutions Explain repair recommendations and replacement options to customers Deliver professional, customer-focused service on every job Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction blueprints
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience servicing HVAC systems Universal EPA Certification Current electrical trainee card with documented training hours 06A or 06B Electrical License - Desired Skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment Familiar with standard sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques Understanding of air balancing methods and airflow optimization Working knowledge of local city and county mechanical and installation codes Certification of completion from trade school - desired High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education Possess a valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving history
