This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is looking for a long-term career in the HVAC industry. As a family business, we believe in treating our employees with respect, providing hands-on training, and creating an environment where everyone works together to succeed. Position Summary The HVAC Installer Helper works alongside our experienced installers, assisting with the installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems. This position offers the opportunity to learn the HVAC trade while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, air handlers, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
- Help prepare job sites and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist with running ductwork, refrigerant lines, and venting.
- Learn proper installation techniques and safety procedures.
- Follow directions from lead installers.
- Maintain company tools and equipment.
- Represent Airco Heating and AC professionally when interacting with homeowners and builders. Qualifications
- HVAC experience is preferred but not required —we're willing to train the right person.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
