Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team in Elkhorn, WI. This role is ideal for a skilled HVAC professional who wants to take ownership of complex installation projects, mentor junior team members, and lead jobs from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong residential HVAC installation experience, excellent technical skills, and the ability to ensure high-quality workmanship while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage residential and commercial HVAC installation projects. Take ownership of installation jobs from initial setup through completion. Install HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigeration components, controls, and thermostats. Perform brazing, line set installation, evacuation, and system startup procedures. Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide efficient solutions. Train, mentor, and support junior installers to improve their technical skills. Ensure installations meet company quality standards and safety requirements. Communicate professionally with customers and provide a positive service experience. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent condition. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience . EPA Certification required. Strong knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems. Experience with ductwork installation and modifications. Ability to install and wire controls, thermostats, and HVAC components independently. Experience brazing and evacuating refrigerant lines. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and mentor junior technicians. Dependable, organized, and safety-focused. Preferred Qualifications Lead installer or HVAC foreman experience. Experience managing installation crews.
