Job Description
Job Overview Major Mechanical is looking for a dependable and hardworking construction installer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and taking pride in quality workmanship. Duties Install mechanical and HVAC systems and components on commercial and industrial construction projects. Assist with the installation of ductwork, piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems. Read and follow blueprints, plans, and installation specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately. Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all jobsite safety requirements and company procedures. Complete assigned work efficiently and to company quality standards. Represent Major Mechanical professionally on every jobsite. Requirements Construction, HVAC, mechanical, or related experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Excellent punctuality and time management, being on time is non-negotiable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work as part of a team and take direction. Ability to safely lift, carry, and work with tools and materials. Ability to work at heights and in various jobsite conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a professional attitude. Previous experience with hand and power tools is a plus. Union Membership Required This position requires union membership.
