Job Description
Major Mechanical is looking for a motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We're a full-service mechanical contractor serving commercial and industrial customers. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, staying busy, and taking pride in quality work. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/mechanical equipment Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment issues Respond to service calls and provide professional, reliable solutions Communicate with customers regarding equipment concerns and recommended repairs Read and interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Complete service documentation and job notes accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work independently while collaborating with the Major Mechanical team Represent Major Mechanical professionally on every job What We're Looking For Commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical service experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Mechanical aptitude and willingness to continue learning Excellent punctuality and time management being on time is non-negotiable Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work safely and follow company procedures EPA certification and relevant HVAC certifications are a plus This position requires union membership.
