Job Description

Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician specializing in HVAC & Facilities, you will: 🌑️ HVAC & Mechanical Systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot heating systems, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, controls, pumps, motors, and other mechanical components. πŸ› οΈ Preventive Maintenance
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, building systems, and other mechanical equipment to keep everything operating safely and efficiently. πŸ”§ Repairs & Work Orders
  • Troubleshoot and complete repairs involving plumbing, lighting, equipment, and other general maintenance needs. πŸ’§ Building Systems & Equipment
  • Maintain water systems and set up, test, and repair facility and resident equipment. 🦺 Safety & Reliability
  • Help ensure Cedar Community's buildings, systems, and equipment remain safe, functional, and reliable for residents and team members.
Qualifications:
βœ” Maintenance Experience
  • One to two years of related maintenance, facilities, HVAC, or mechanical experience preferred. βœ” HVAC Knowledge
  • Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including heating, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, and controls. βœ” Mechanical Skills
  • Working knowledge of pumps, motors, belts, and other mechanical components. βœ” Preventive Maintenance
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical equipment. βœ” Driver's License
