Mechanical Assembly Technician Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $18.00 to $21.00 /hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:30pm) Bolt and fasten fabricated machine components together. Assemble conveyor frames, supports, guarding, platforms, and other mechanical components. Install bearings, shafts, rollers, motors, gearboxes, cylinders, and other components as required. Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, drills, and other common assembly tools. Read and follow mechanical drawings and assembly instructions. Measure, align, level, and adjust components during assembly. Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect components. Work with the engineering and electrical departments during machine assembly. Assist with machine installation, adjustment, and startup when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Mechanical Assembly Technician Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Ability to read basic measurements. Ability to follow instructions and mechanical drawings. Good attention to detail. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work safely around machinery.
