Job Description
Controlled Automation is looking to add a hardworking individual, that are driven, willing to learn and self-motivated to join our constantly expanding team. Job duties will consist of, but not limited to general machine and component assembly/disassembly, machine assembly/setup. As well as loading and unloading used equipment as needed. Everyday there is something different to work on in the shop. We build custom, made to order steel fabricating equipment for customers all over the U.S., Canada, Mexico, as well as some European markets. Our standard work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6am until 4:30pm. There will be an occasional pre-scheduled Friday workday, with overtime pay. Basic mechanical skills, instruction/print reading, general fabrication and basic welding experience is a must. Be familiar and/or able to use a forklift and overhead crane. Must have a basic toolbox setup with assorted screwdrivers, wide range of SAE and metric wrenches, adjustable wrenches, pliers, SAE and metric hex key wrenches, assorted SAE and metric sockets, etc. Must be able to show up to work as scheduled, every day and on time. Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools for fabrication and machining tasks
- Familiarity with welding techniques and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints for machine assembly
- Basic experience with electrical wiring and industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
