In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes and lifting equipment within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of all crane systems, supporting our production processes and maintaining high safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to operational excellence. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various crane systems, including overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and jib cranes. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Conduct equipment repairs, including welding ( welding if applicable), electrical system diagnostics, and hydraulic component replacements to minimize downtime. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, track equipment history, and schedule future inspections. Diagnose complex electrical problems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and industrial electrician standards. Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance tasks. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting issues related to industrial mechanics, HVAC/R systems, and other plant machinery to optimize equipment performance. Requirements Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting. Technical sales experience or familiarity with customer service principles is a plus for engaging with vendors or internal clients. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, and schematics reading. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics. Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to identify faults quickly. Experience with welding ( welding if applicable), equipment troubleshooting, and repairs involving mechanical components. Strong analysis skills combined with a proactive approach to equipment troubleshooting and maintenance planning. Industrial mechanic experience with a focus on industrial electrician standards is highly desirable. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems troubleshooting, and electrical systems diagnostics. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors regarding equipment issues.
