Job Description
Novo Biopower is a renewable energy company engaged in biomass power generation utilizing wood waste as a primary fuel source. The power plant produces twenty-seven megawatts of power and is located near Snowflake, AZ. - Repair, install, assemble, and disassemble machinery and equipment in industrial settings.
- Precise fitting/alignment of bearings, gears and shafts, couplings, motors, and pumps.
- Conduct routine Preventative maintenance and repairs to keep equipment operating smoothly.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
- Piping Installation and repairs, welding and Metal work repairs, general maintenance. Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined, willing to learn new things, and good with hand and power tools.
- Industrial Boiler and material handling experience preferred
- Welding, rigging, experience preferred.
- Industrial experience preferred.
- Must be able to work safely in an industrial environment and willing to put safety first.
- Ability to think through a problem under pressure safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication and team interaction skills.
- Experience as an initiative-taker, who effectively manages multiple tasks, achieves results with minimal supervision and possesses excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Computer experience preferred: , E-mail.
- Read detailed plans and prints and translate them into working knowledge of unfamiliar machines.
