  • Plumber/HVAC Technician
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • + Analyze, Plan, and Perform Preventive Maintenance of HVAC Systems.
+ Install, maintain and repair both plumbing and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in an industrial environment. + Perform routine maintenance and preventative checks on all various systems. + Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, boilers and refrigeration units as well as various industrial plumbing systems. + Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies. + Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems. + Strong ability to work with mechanical and electrical components. Proficiency in reading schematics, diagrams and blueprints. + Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade + Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices + Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings + Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper + Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted + Excellent problem-solving skills + Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously + Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
  • Education and Experience Requirements:
  • + High school diploma or GED certificate + HVAC/ EPA certifications beneficial + 2+ years' experience as a journeyman plumber + Valid driver's license Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check, as condition of employment.
