Full Job Description Shift:
Primarily 1st and 3rd Shift (Must be flexible to work other hours as business needs require.) Job Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety. Essential Duties Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, transformers, breakers, MCCs, motors, and related equipment. Install wiring, conduit, power supplies, and electrical components for new and existing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and assist with PLC-related equipment. Repair electrical components including relays, switches, sensors, starters, circuit boards, and fuses. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Complete preventive maintenance and general plant repairs. Read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot equipment failures. Assist with minor HVAC repairs as needed. Work overtime or alternate shifts when required to support production. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Basic electrical, mechanical, and fabrication skills. Industrial maintenance experience preferred. Knowledge of VFDs and basic PLC troubleshooting. Ability to read technical documents and perform basic math. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. All applicants must pass a skills test. Safety & Teamwork Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Report injuries and unsafe conditions immediately. Work effectively with coworkers and supervisors. Maintain dependable attendance and complete work with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements Work in hot, cold, noisy manufacturing environments. Stand and walk for extended periods. Climb ladders and work at heights. Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally. Work Environment Manufacturing facility with moving machinery, airborne particles, humidity, temperature extremes, and noise levels that may exceed 90 decibels.
