Job Description
Position Role:
Assemble machinery from blueprints, sketches, or description of parts; to be assembled using basic hand tools and small power tools, both electric and pneumatic. Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Experience Requirements Preference:
Ability to assemble machinery from blueprints, sketches, or description of parts Experience build machinery, motors, transmissions Small business or shop experience Basic machine assembly skills- drill/tap, layout, basic hand tools and small power tools.
Responsibilities include:
Experience in identifying mechanical components; and to perform required mechanical and final machine assembly for schedule requirements Familiar with manufacturing processes, machine shop practices, and assembly methods Familiar with drilling, tapping, layouts of holes, and other basic assembly functions Ability to read and understand engineering documents (blueprints, drawings, schematics, BOM, and manufacturing process instructions) Ability to analyze component construction, measuring, identifying materials and documenting formal designs. Must maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Possesses a positive "can-do" attitude, works effectively, demonstrates persistence and moves consistently towards goals, having a solid work ethic that results in consistent accomplishment, and dependability Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent English written and verbal communications skills Ability to use hand tools, power tools (both electric and pneumatic), and precision tools. Pneumatic and basic electrical knowledge Work entails reaching, pulling, standing most of the shift, stooping, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
