Mechanical Disassembly Location:

Elk Grove, CA Coneybeare Workforce Solutions is hiring several Millwright Helpers / Industrial Laborers for a 2-3 month decomissioning project at a manufacturing facility in Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento area).

10-hour shifts , starting at 6:00 AM ; days may vary based on project needs; overtime as required

Monday, September 14th About the Role We're looking for reliable, safety-focused millwright helpers and industrial laborers to assist the millwright and rigging crew with assembly, disassembly, and dismantling of mechanical equipment — including conveyors, machinery, and other production equipment. Responsibilities Assemble and disassemble mechanical equipment, including conveyors, machine frames, guarding, and related components Dismantle and remove decommissioned or relocated machinery and equipment Use hand tools and power tools (wrenches, impact guns, grinders, come-alongs, etc.) to complete assembly/disassembly tasks Assist with rigging, lifting, and moving heavy components safely, using proper equipment (hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks) as directed Read and follow basic instructions, diagrams, or work orders for equipment teardown and setup Sort, stage, and organize parts, hardware, and components during disassembly Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow all plant and OSHA safety protocols Work collaboratively with millwrights, riggers, and the ISA project team Wear and properly use all required PPE at all times Be prepared for long, physically demanding 10-hour shifts starting early morning Requirements Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or mechanical assembly/disassembly work preferred Rigging, millwright, or heavy equipment experience a strong plus Ability to read basic diagrams, blueprints, or work instructions a plus Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform physical labor throughout a full 10-hour shift (standing, bending, kneeling, climbing) Strong mechanical aptitude Forklift experience a plus, but not required Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Steel-toe boots required; other PPE provided or required per site policy Reliable transportation to the Elk Grove, CA job site, with ability to arrive by 6:00 AM Coneybeare Workforce Solutions is committed to full compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action laws and regulations.
