The pay rate for this job is $23 - $23 / hour

• What you'll be doing as a

Maintenance Mechanic:

Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair defective parts, and test equipment to ensure proper operation. Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems. Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documents, and work orders. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and material handling equipment safely and effectively. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, defective materials, and unusual operating conditions. Maintain production areas, maintenance shop, and equipment in a clean and organized condition. Perform facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting/electrical systems, restrooms, carpentry, and other building repairs. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, and performance documentation. Prepare reports detailing maintenance findings, corrective actions, and recommendations. Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment breakdowns, including participation in an on-call rotation as needed. Conduct Pareto analysis to identify and address deviations from production schedules. Lead weekly production inventory counts Available shifts:

1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), 3rd Shift (Night) Job requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required Completion of a skilled trade apprenticeship or an equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience Associate's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred Interpretative skills Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, including problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making. Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. Commumication skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Displays contagious enthusiasm for objectives, tasks, and people Positively affects the commitment of others Highly effective communicator possessing the ability to listen with the intent to understand fully and to articulate strong reasoning and potential solutions Time and project management skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently, with limited direct supervision, and effectively manage tasks and time Language skills The ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram Communication and Language skills Effective communication skills, written & verbal Mathematical skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to understand mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamental fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations Reasoning ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver's License Participate in all training exercises needed to perform the job satisfactorily Safety/PPE requirements Must complete training as specified by the Company Safety glasses must be worn at all times in all manufacturing production, and factory areas Hearing and vision protection, or other PPE, may be required when performing certain job functions Employee must utilize mechanical aids (or assistance of a co-worker) to lift and/or move objects over 65 pounds Background check and Drug test required Ready to take control of the way you work?
