• 23/HR plus benefits Employment type: full-time Golden West Towing Equipment is looking for a Truck Assembly Technician to join our team.

Strong mechanical experience is preferred. We will train you to succeed! We are looking for a candidate that is able to work in a hands-on fast-paced environment, committed to quality, and enjoys working in a team. As a Truck Assembly Welder/Technician, you will learn to:

• Install Tow Truck components
• Perform necessary handwork on machined components
• Read and interpret build sheets
• Conduct in-depth inspections on machined components
• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation
• Perform daily maintenance on machines
• Establish priorities and organize resources to provide efficient and effective production flow
• Apply Continuous Improvement principles in daily work

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of automotive electrical wiring, hydraulics, and welding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic
• Strong shop math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division)
• Good computer skills a plus

Hiring Requirements:

• ITT Tech or trade school training preferred but not a must.
• High school diploma or GED
• Pre-employment drug screen
• Proof to legally work in the United States
• MONDAY thru FRIDAY workweek (

7:00 am

• 4:00 pm, Saturday work possible. Advanced notice is given)
