Job Description
Mechanical Assembly Adecco is currently assisting one of our manufacturing clients in San Fernando Valley for a Mechanical Assembly role. If you meet the qualifications listed below and would like to find out more about the position, please Apply Now!
Responsibilities:
- Mount finished lenses into frames, securing them using hand tools like screwdrivers and pliers ensuring proper optical alignment and orientation.
- Verify lens power, axis, and prism using lensometers; check for surface defects (scratches, coatings).to ensure they meet, prescriptions specifications.
- Adjust, replace, or repair broken frames and lenses
- Use precision instruments (calipers, lensometers) to measure and verify alignment and prescriptions on lenses
- Ensure a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of production goals

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience
- Strong motor skills, and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand or bend for long periods, working with small parts and handling light to moderate lifting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to interpret technical work orders prescriptions, drawings and specifications.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Ophthalmic industry experience a plus
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
Schedule Needed:
Monday through Friday 8am- 4:30pm or 3:30 pm-12:00 am.
