Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gas Turbine Mechanic and become a vital contributor to maintaining and optimizing high-performance power generation equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining gas turbines and associated systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation. Your expertise will help keep our energy production running smoothly, supporting critical infrastructure and industrial processes. We are seeking motivated professionals with a passion for mechanical and electrical systems, ready to take on challenging maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on gas turbines and auxiliary equipment Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately Conduct welding ( welding) and fabrication tasks to repair or modify equipment components as needed Operate and maintain specialized equipment including scissor lifts, cranes, and other field service tools safely and effectively Read electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides to diagnose issues quickly Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades, modifications, or troubleshooting efforts to optimize turbine performance Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments with a focus on gas turbines or heavy machinery Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical diagnostics expertise; experience with electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage circuits Familiarity with industrial electrician practices such as wiring, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, repair procedures, and preventative maintenance strategies Ability to operate precision measuring instruments like ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters confidently Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and HVAC/R systems is highly desirable Skilled in welding ( welding), fabrication techniques, and working safely at heights using scissor lifts or similar equipment Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation; able to communicate technical information clearly in English Relevant certifications such as industrial electrician license or HVAC certification are preferred; military background in technical fields is a plus Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced manufacturing or industrial settings Join us to leverage your technical expertise in a rewarding environment dedicated to excellence in power generation!
