Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings, using measuring instruments, and handling various tools will be essential to delivering high-quality assemblies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while honing your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and systems according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and production documents Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to verify component dimensions and tolerances Interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately to ensure correct assembly procedures Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools safely and effectively during assembly processes Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and visual inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications Follow safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to manual handling guidelines Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and improve manufacturing efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge and shop math Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and interpreting technical drawings or production documents Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools for quality assurance Familiarity with soldering techniques, machining processes, and interpreting mechanical blueprints is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely Strong manual dexterity with the capability for manual handling of small parts and assemblies Knowledge of safety standards including proper PPE use and safe handling of tools and materials Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to manufacturing excellence! Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
