- Oversee the generation of engineering drawings using common GD&T practices
- Identify procurement needs and support fabrication
- Provide assembly checkout and test support
- Drive issue resolutions both onsite and with vendors
- Coordinating and collaborating with various disciplines to quickly resolve issues The qualified candidate will possess the following skills:
- Good communication skills, both oral and written

- Specific Hours may be shifted but the focus is supporting the evening hours This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on the qualifications listed below: Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline with 2 years relevant work experience; or Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) 0 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in machine design and drawing generation
- Experience with CAD modeling (NX, CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
- Familiar with PLM systems
- Ability to plan tasks and execute to the established schedule
- US citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline with 5 years relevant work experience; or Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) 3 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in machine design and drawing generation
- Experience with CAD modeling (NX, CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
- Familiar with PLM systems
- Ability to plan tasks and execute to the established schedule
- US citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance
- Experience in resolving manufacturing non-conformances
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in
ASME Y14.5 GD&T
Standard andASME Y14.100
Dimensioning, Tolerancing, and Engineering Drawing Practices- Experience in production support such as troubleshooting, RCCA, and resolving production issues
- Strong background in machine design, strength of materials, and materials technology
- Experience in technical presentation
- Experience in developing continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in working with vendors and suppliers
- Experience working in a low volume high precision manufacturing environment
- System Engineering experience
- Proven ability to drive resolutions under tight time constraints independently
- An active US Government Secret clearance
Primary Level Salary Range:
$83,400.00- $125,200.
Secondary Level Salary Range:
$103,600.00- $155,400.
