Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Mechanical Helper to support our maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on entry-level to junior-level position for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and comfortable working around industrial equipment. The Mechanical Helper will assist experienced maintenance technicians with routine maintenance, equipment repairs, basic mechanical work, shop tasks, and general facility support. Prior industrial experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Assist maintenance technicians with routine equipment maintenance and repairs. Help inspect, clean, lubricate, adjust, and replace basic mechanical components. Assist with maintenance of conveyors, motors, fans, gearboxes, pumps, air compressors, and other industrial equipment. Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly. Help move, lift, position, and install equipment and mechanical parts. Assist with basic fabrication, cutting, drilling, grinding, and shop work as needed. Support preventive maintenance activities and equipment inspections. Keep tools, parts, and work areas clean and organized. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Report equipment problems or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor or technician. Work closely with maintenance and production team members to complete assigned tasks. Learn new maintenance skills and procedures through hands-on training. Perform other maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous mechanical, maintenance, construction, automotive, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. Basic mechanical ability and willingness to work with tools and machinery. Willingness to learn from experienced maintenance technicians. Reliable attendance and ability to report to work on time. Ability to follow instructions and work safely. Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working around industrial equipment. Comfortable working as part of a team. Must be available to work full-time,

First Shift:

5:00 a.m. - 1:40 p.m. Preferred, but not required Experience using basic hand or power tools. Previous work in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment. Forklift, welding, or maintenance experience. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, responsible, willing to learn, and willing to work . Advanced maintenance experience is not required. Training will be provided for a candidate who demonstrates a positive attitude, good attendance, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
